Enjoy the Norfolk Trails
So many off road paths to enjoy with the Norfolk Trails
The county now boasts ten Norfolk Trails varying from twelve to ninety three miles. All are well maintained and signposted, for both the Sunday strollers and the serious long distance walker. The two river Valley walks, the Angles Way and the Nar Valley way, follow the River Waveney and the River Nar respectively.
Of course the Coast Path from Holme next the Sea to Cromer is not to be missed. It passes through such gems as Wells, Blakeney, Stiffkey, Morston (Galton Blackistons pad www.morstonhall.com ) and the Norfolk Wildlife nature reserve at Cley.
The brand new Wensum Way is now open and runs from Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum to Lenwade, linking the Nar Valley Way and Marriott’s way (which is also a cycle Trail) . Marriott’s Way links Norwich and Aylsham and passes very close to the Windmill. For more information about Norfolk’s paths visit www.norfolk.gov.uk/trails
